The book’s author, Joseph Januszkiewicz, took a unique approach in writing this book.

In addition to sharing his own experiences as a soldier, he also spent decades gathering stories from dozens of his fellow 95th Division veterans. By combining all those personal accounts with some well-researched information about many of the events that were relevant to the stories, he created a book that immerses the reader on multiple levels.
